Report claims that Danny Rose’s Tottenham exit may not be straightforward

Tottenham Hotspur are said to believe that they will find it difficult to sell Danny Rose to another Premier League club, claim The Evening Standard.

Rose joined Newcastle United on loan during the January transfer window in a deal which cost them £2million plus a loan fee to secure the services of the England international but did not include an obligation or option to buy him this summer (Sky Sports).

Football Insider have previously reported that Newcastle are unlikely to bring the former Leeds man to the club on a permanent basis.

The report suggests that the 30-year-old who has under a year to run on his contract in North London is open to a move abroad.

It was claimed last summer that French giants PSG were keeping tabs on the left-back along with German outfit Schalke (Sky Sports).

Rose was seen during the latest batch of episodes from Amazon’s All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur docuseries having a heated discussion with Mourinho regarding his lack of game time prior to his move to Newcastle (Independent).
