Report claims the reason why Gareth Bale does not want a permanent Madrid exit

Gareth Bale’s footballing future has been the subject of much discussion over the past few days.

The 31-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Wales revealed that it is his intention to return to Real Madrid in the summer for the last year of his contract (Sky Sports).

Bale returned to Tottenham Hotspur on a season long loan during the summer to much fanfare but has struggled to make a consistent impact in North London after battling against injury issues.

Spanish news outlet El Confidencial pick on the story today has claimed that Madrid are keen to get rid of Bale during the summer with the Welshman refusing to move to any other club on a permanent basis since he wants the ‘agreement to be fulfilled’ and his remaining €15m be paid to him.

Bale is said to know that the La Liga champions do not see him as part of their plans, but is refusing to sacrifice any of his wages to move elsewhere.
