Report claims this man is Spurs’ top managerial target if Pochettino leaves

Tottenham Hotspur are back to winning ways in the Premier League, albeit the hard way after going down to ten men against Southampton at home.

Spurs have their third win of the season in the Prem, which will go some way to silencing the Pochettino critics for the time being.

However, there have been some fans on Twitter calling for the Argentine’s head in recent weeks, as they believe he has taken the club as far as he can.

So, who would Spurs get in to replace the gaffer if he was to talk or get fired?

Reports in the Sun and Express have claimed that England manager, Gareth Southgate, would be Daniel Levy’s top managerial target if Pochettino was to leave.

In fact, the Daily Express claim that Spurs were ready to make an offer to Southgate as early as last season, with there being doubts over the future of Poch.

However, the Sun have also claimed that Spurs are worried about firing Poch as they believe it would give their rivals an advantage and leave them out of pocket.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Number one, I don’t think Poch is going anywhere. Number two, Gareth Southgate would not be a good fit for Tottenham. Number three, why would Southgate leave England at the moment?
