Report claims what Harry Kane’s stance is on a Spurs stay if Pochettino returns

Mauricio Pochettino’s potential return to Tottenham Hotspur will not change Harry Kane’s mind about leaving the club.

The Times claim that while Kane admires Pochettino as a manger, he wants to leave the North Londoners this summer.

Kane turns 28 next month and is yet to win any major honours at Tottenham, despite coming close on a number of occasions and is of the belief that significant funds would need to be invested in the playing squad if they are to challenge once again, with the players they need to take them to the next level being financially out of their reach.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are all said to have made contact with Kane’s representatives after he made his intention clear to the club that he wants out (Sky Sports).

Pochettino has been heavily linked with a return to North London, however, Paris Saint-Germain are set to dig in their heels and block any chance of a reunion happening in N17 (Independent).

Whether Kane wants to leave is secondary to the fact that the club must receive a suitable offer considering the fact that he still has three years to run on his contract.

Daniel Levy would have to invest significant funds to improve the squad to the level that Kane seeks and this is certainly not going to happen in one transfer window.
