Report claims what some within Spurs believe is best for Dele’s future amid PSG link

Dele Alli’s future at Tottenham Hotspur has been the subject of intense speculation in the media this month.

The England international has been limited to just four Premier League appearances all season and has not featured under Mourinho in the top-flight since the middle of December (transfermarkt).

Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment as head coach Paris Saint-Germain has seen the French giants linked with a move to take Dele on loan for the remainder of the season (Sky Sports).

Football.London have claimed that there are many within Tottenham who do not want to see the 24-year-old depart North London on a permanent basis since they believe that a temporary switch could help the midfielder regain his confidence.

The former MK Dons man is said to be keen to re-unite with Pochettino in the French capital to play regular first-team football, especially with the European Championship finals taking place in the summer.

Selling Dele would be a mistake.  At 24, he is yet to reach the prime of his career and Tanguy Ndombele’s resurgence has proven that a player can turn around their fortunes under Jose Mourinho if given time.
