Report claims what Tottenham board’s stance is over a Harry Kane exit this summer

Harry Kane’s potential departure from Tottenham Hotspur may not be as straightforward as what the striker wishes, according to The Athletic.

The report claims that the Spurs board have absolutely no intention of allowing Kane to depart North London this summer and that he will not join a Premier League rival.

Sky Sports reported yesterday evening that the 27-year-old had once again told the club that he wants to leave this summer which has led to Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all making contact with Kane’s representatives to register their interest with the player wanting to remain in the English top flight.

The Athletic claim that Kane does not have the power to force what he wants right now given the fact that he still has three years to run on his current contract and it would take at least another season for his market value to drop.

Kane reiterated his desire to win trophies after losing the Carabao Cup final to Manchester City last month (Sky Sports).
