Report claims whether Foyth and Lo Celso will start for Argentina on Friday

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth and midfielder Giovani Lo Celso were both called up to the most recent Argentina squad for their upcoming fixtures against Brazil and Uruguay.

This comes after Foyth has started just one match for Tottenham this season since returning from injury, and Lo Celso has started just the two.

Lo Celso picked up an injury during his last time with the Argentina national team, which left him out of Pochettino’s plans for over a month.

The last thing Spurs will want is any further injuries to the pair who could well become the club’s future starting right-back and playmaker.

With two matches against fellow South American heavyweights, which can be rather tough-tackling matches, Spurs fans will have their fingers crossed nervously for the next week.

Lo Celso scored on his full debut for Spurs against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League recently, while Foyth started that same match and kept a clean sheet.

El Intransigente in Argentina have now claimed that the duo should both be starting against Brazil on Friday.
