Jornal de Noticias, a newspaper in Portugal, has reported that Wolves are already eyeing up a new manager to replace Nuno Espirito Santo in case he leaves for Spurs.

This comes after reports indicated that Tottenham would look at the Wolves manager if Jose Mourinho was sacked this summer.

Alasdair Gold from Football London reported this week that this is becoming a real possibility, with it becoming increasingly likely that Mourinho will leave Tottenham before the start of the next campaign.

It is said that, if Tottenham did poach Nuno, Wolves are looking at 44-year-old Bruno Lage as a potential replacement, who has a little experience in England as an assistant coach at both Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been at Wolves for around four years and has done an incredible job getting them promoted to the Premier League while retaining their status and playing attractive football in the process.
