Corriere dello Sport have claimed that Juventus have already started working on Samuel Iling-Junior’s sale to Tottenham, having appointed agents to negotiate with the North London club.
Over the past month, many Italian outlets have talked up the chances of Spurs swooping for Iling-Junior, and Corriere have now become the latest to report on the matter.
They say that the Old Lady have identified the England Under-21 international as one of the players to cash in on in next month’s transfer window.
The Bianconeri are alleged to have ‘appointed some agents to investigate’ requests from Tottenham and other Premier League sides, with the Serie A giants said to value the player at €20m (£17.1m).
Juve need to raise funds from Iling-Junior sale
Meanwhile, TV Play have also named Iling-Junior as one of the players that Juve are looking to move on in January.
They saw that Massimiliano Allegri’s men have their eye on Shakhtar Donetsk star Heorhiy Sudakov, who is valued at €25m (£21.4m).
They plan on selling Iling-Junior to fund moves for the Ukrainian, with the Chelsea academy graduate said to be ‘always courted’ by Spurs.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is quite interesting to note that almost all of the speculation talking up the chances of Iling-Junior moving to Spurs is coming from Italian outlets.
The likes of Alasdair Gold, Charlie Eccleshare and Dan Kilpatrick, who have sources at Tottenham, have not really suggested that the Juve star is the club’s number-one target.
