Sport have revealed that Barcelona are now considering loaning out Clement Lenglet as they are prioritising getting his salary off their wage bill.
The report explains that with the exits of Ousmane Dembele and Frank Kessie having been sealed, Barca are now ‘focused’ on finding a new club for Lenglet.
The Catalan club allegedly met with Tottenham officials during the Joan Gamper trophy clash to discuss a deal for the Frenchman but no breakthrough was reached.
It is revealed Spurs were ‘very satisfied with the centre-back’s professionalism last season while the player continues to prioritise a return to the North London club.
Spurs could get Lenglet on loan again this summer
However, the outlet adds that Barcelona are now also offering the player to other clubs due to their inability to agree a fee with the Premier League side.
AC Milan and Juventus are both said to be interested in signing the player but both sides are only exploring a loan deal. Sport add that the La Liga giants are coming around to the idea of loaning Lenglet out with an option to make the deal permanent.

The situation seems to be playing into Tottenham’s hands, with the Lilywhites hoping that Barca would eventually have no choice but to sell Lenglet to them for a cut-price fee.
I do not think either Juve or Milan would be able to match the Frenchman’s wages, which is why the player might not be keen on joining either club this summer.
