COPE have revealed that Villarreal are willing to sell Tottenham target Arnaut Danjuma for a cut-price fee before the transfer window closes.
Danjuma was first mooted as a target for Spurs last week when The Daily Mail claimed that Antonio Conte’s side are one of four Premier League clubs eyeing a move for the forward.
The report claimed that Villarreal were willing to loan out the Netherlands international this month after he had fallen out with some of his teammates.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein revealed on Sunday that the striker’s agent had flown to London to hold talks with several clubs regarding a potential temporary move.
The Sun revealed a couple of days ago that Villarreal have made it clear that they want a guaranteed fee of £35m to sell the 25-year-old permanently.
However, this has now been contradicted by COPE, who state that the La Liga club would be willing to sell Danjuma if they are able to recover the €20m (£17.7m) they paid to sign him 18 months ago.

The report names Tottenham and Everton as two of the clubs who hold an interest in the centre-forward.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is clear that Danjuma does not fit the profile of attacker that Tottenham need as the 25-year-old is best suited to playing centrally. I see the Villarreal star joining one of Everton and Bournemouth, and I would not be surprised if it is a loan move rather than a permanent transfer.
