Football Insider have reported that Manchester United are wary about dealing with Tottenham this summer as they are worried Daniel Levy could block any move for Harry Kane.
The Spurs striker may be ending the season without a trophy once again, but he has clocked up a few impressive personal records this campaign.
Kane is now England’s all-time top goalscorer, the second-highest goalscorer in Premier League history, and Tottenham’s all-time record goalscorer – not a bad trio of achievements for the season.
However, even though the England captain only has 12 months left on his Spurs contract, Man United fear that Levy could still block a summer exit.
This comes after Football Insider also reported this week that Kane remains Man United’s number one target for the summer, with the same publication previously stating that Harry will not sign a new contract in North London until he knows who the next manager will be.
Spurs Web Opinion:
Blocking a Harry Kane exit this summer would be masterful from Daniel Levy if he convinces the striker to sign a new deal.
However, if Kane intends to leave on a free next summer anyway, the question will have to be asked – how much is one more season with Harry worth to Spurs?
