Report: Club could make new offer for Ndombele after first bid was rejected

Fanatik have claimed that Galatasaray are set to make another effort to snap up Tanguy Ndombele this summer after their loan offer was turned down by Tottenham.

Ndombele is one of several players who Spurs are reportedly trying to shift before the transfer window closes (Football.London).

The Athletic revealed last week that AC Milan looked at Ndombele but decided against moving for him as they were put off by his wages.

The report added that while Marseille are among the clubs interested in the 25-year-old, there is ‘nothing advanced’ at the moment. It was explained that Spurs are likely to loan the midfielder out again this summer just as they did during the second half of last season.

Fanatik have now claimed that Spurs have already rebuffed Galatasaray’s efforts to sign the French international on a temporary deal.

However, it is suggested that the Turkish club could make another attempt to sign the Spurs man before the window closes after the midfielder’s move to Milan fell through.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tottenham would have been hoping that Ndombele’s stock would rise after his loan spell back at Lyon. However, the opposite seems to have happened owing to his struggles at the Groupama Stadium.

Not many clubs now seem willing to risk taking the 25-year-old on board and it looks likely that Spurs would eventually have to pay out his contract to get him out of the club.
