Report: Club do not rule out police involvement in Ryan Sessegnon racism incident

The Daily Mail have revealed that Hoffenheim are taking the racist abuse directed towards Ryan Sessegnon extremely seriously and have not ruled out police involvement.

The 20-year-old shared a screenshot of messages he received from another Instagram user, admitting that he was disgusted.

Tottenham have conveyed their support to the youngster, while some Spurs fans on social media also rallied behind him and sent messages of support.

The Hoffenheim players showed solidarity with their teammate by celebrating a goal on Thursday with raised fists.

The Daily Mail have revealed that Spurs contacted Sessegnon soon after the incident to check on his well being. The England Under-21 international is said to be shocked and disappointed at the incident.

It is said that officials from the anti-discrimination organisation, Kick It Out will discuss the incident with Sessegnon in order to offer him their support.
