Report: Club ‘forcing’ reported Tottenham target to accept Napoli move

Rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target, Victor Osimhen, is reportedly set to fly to Italy with his agent for transfer negotiations with Napoli ahead of a possible move to Serie A.

Osimhen has been in sensational form in his first Ligue 1 season and Tottenham have been linked with a move for the striker since the January transfer window (Sky Sports).

Reports have indicated that the North Londoners have made a £62million offer to sign the Lille star this summer (Radio Kiss Kiss via Area Napoli).

More recently, reports have indicated that Osimhen could be Napoli bound (Le10Sport), despite the 21-year-old previously rubbishing suggestions that he was joining the Serie A side (Omasports).

Sky Sport Italia (as relayed by Goal.com) now reveal that the Nigerian international is set to fly to Naples today to complete a transfer to Gennaro Gattuso side.

Meanwhile, Football Italia reveals that Osimhen is against the idea of joining Napoli but is being forced into the move by Lille.

Spurs Web Opinion

Osimhen was never going to come to Spurs with Harry Kane still at the club as he would want to be the main upfront wherever he goes. Osimhen’s move to Napoli could potentially have other repercussions for Spurs, with rumoured Tottenham target Arkadiusz Milik potentially being freed up to leave the Italian club.
