Report: Club have been working on deal for Spurs forward since February

Millwall are reported to have been working on a deal to bring Troy Parrott to the New Den since as far back as February.

South London Press claim that the details of the loan move to the Championship club were tied up in Dublin yesterday, where the Republic of Ireland international is currently located following the end of the season.

Harry Kane also enjoyed a loan stint at Millwall earlier in his career where he scored nine goals in 27 appearances (transfermarkt).

Parrott did not feature for Tottenham following the resumption of the Premier League campaign after undergoing an operation to remove his appendix at the end of May (Sky Sports).

Parrott was the subject of interest from Charlton during the January transfer window but were unable to unable to get a deal over the line, admitted assistant manager Jonnie Jackson in an interview with the Last Word on Spurs podcast.

In February, the 18-year-old signed a three-year contract which will keep him in North London until 2023 (Sky Sports).
