Report: Club ready to sell alleged Spurs target for just £7m in January

Calciomercato.it have claimed that Eintracht Frankfurt are ready to sell rumoured Tottenham target Evan Ndicka for a cut-price fee in January.

Ndicka’s stock has risen considerably over the last couple of years thanks to his impressive displays for Frankfurt, with Foot Mercato reporting in the summer transfer window that Spurs were the front-runners to snap up the versatile defender.

However, the 23-year-old stayed put at Deutsche Bank Park and has made a solid start to the campaign, impressing in two Champions League group stage clashes against Tottenham.

The centre-back’s current contract at Frankfurt runs out at the end of the season (Transfermarkt), and Calciomercato.it have revealed that the Bundesliga club want to sell the defender in January to avoid losing him for free.

The report claims that the Bundesliga club could sell Ndicka for a fee in the region of €8m-€9m (£7m-£7.8m) when the transfer window opens.

Calciomercato.it add that the Frenchman is on the radars of Premier League clubs as well as Juventus, AC Milan and Roma.

Spurs Web Opinion

I was impressed with Ndicka’s performances against Spurs and I believe he has the characteristics to do well at left centre-back in Conte’s back three. However, now that the Italian has Davies and Lenglet at his disposal, I do not see us being in the market for a left-sided centre-back in January.
