Report: Club send top club official to London to sort Tottenham midfielder signing

According to a report by Fanatik, Tottenham Hotspur could soon be bidding farewell to Victor Wanyama, a player who has been at the heart of the midfield for a number of seasons.

The report states that Galatasaray have sent one of their top officials to London to negotiate a potential move for the Kenyan international.

Sukru Haznedar is aiming to get a deal agreed and completed by August 31, which is the deadline for Turkish clubs to complete their summer signings by.

The club are also said to be interested in Chelsea’s Iemoue Bakayoko this summer, as they look to bolster their midfield ranks for the new season.

While Wanyama has been a fantastic servant of the club and was once one of the best defensive midfielders in the Prem, injuries have hampered him over the last couple of seasons.

With the likes of Ndombele, Winks, Sissoko, Skipp, Dier, Alli, Eriksen, and a whole host of youngsters at the club who can play central midfield, perhaps it is time for Victor to move on.
