Report: Club will not consider offers under £52m for alleged Spurs target

Inter Live have claimed that AC Milan would want a huge fee for rumoured Tottenham target, Mike Maignan this summer.

Multiple outlets over the last couple of months have suggested that Maignan is one of the names on Tottenham’s shortlist to take over the gloves from Hugo Lloris in the summer (Football.London).

The latest such update came from Fichajes.net, who reported a couple of weeks ago that Spurs could face competition from their North London rivals Arsenal for the Milan star’s signature this summer.

The publication added that the Rossoneri do not wish to sell their number one and are expected to fight to hold on to him.

InterLive have now suggested that while Maignan could leave the San Siro this summer amidst interest from Premier League clubs, it would take a substantial offer to prise the Frenchman away.

It is asserted that Stefano Pioli’s men ‘will not consider’ any offers under €60m (£52.7m) for the former Lille star.

Spurs Web Opinion

Maignan is an excellent goalkeeper and he is arguably worth £50m but I do not think he is likely to be Tottenham’s top target.

That is because there are cheaper and better options on the market, including David Raya, for whose signature there is likely to be a transfer tussle between Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd.
