Report: Club will only sell Conte and Tottenham target in January for £60m

According to a report from La Nazione (as relayed by Sport Witness), Fiorentina will only sell Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic in January if they receive an offer of around €70m (£59.9m) for the striker.

The speculation linking Spurs with Vlahovic has picked pace since Antonio Conte’s appointment, with the Italian thought to have asked for the Serbian to be brought in as part of his rebuild.

Tottenham’s managing director of football Fabio Paratici is alleged to have met with the Fiorentina directors recently to discuss a potential deal for the 21-year-old.

However, Spurs are thought to be facing competition from their North London rivals Arsenal, who also allegedly had a meeting with the Viola hierarchy over a January deal for the centre-forward.

La Nazione’s latest update claims that Fiorentina will draw up their transfer plan over the next fortnight, including on Vlahvoic’s future.

The report reveals that, as things stand, Vincenzo Italiano’s side plan to hold on to the striker until the summer.

However, it is explained that their plan could change if they receive an offer of around €70m (£59.9m), with the Serie A club already having identified replacements for Vlahovic.

Spurs Web Opinion

A lot can change between now and January but I would be surprised if Spurs make an offer for Vlahvoic before next summer. I suspect the Serbian has been earmarked as a potential replacement for Kane if the 28-year-old refuses to sign a new contract.
