Report: Club willing to sell rumoured Spurs target for cut-price fee in January

According to La Stampa (30/12/22 as relayed by Toro News), Torino are willing to sell rumoured Tottenham target Wilfried Singo for a cut-price fee in January.

Antonio Conte is thought to be keen on signing a right wing-back during the January window, with reports indicating that Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Porro is the North London club’s top target (The Athletic).

Singo is another name who is reportedly on Spurs’ radar, with Tuttosport (14/12/22 as relayed by Sport Witness) claiming three weeks ago that the 22-year-old is ‘really liked’ by Conte.

La Stampa have now suggested that Torino are open to cashing in on the right-back in January as his current contract just has 18 months left to run.

It is asserted that the Ivory Coast international has not lived up to expectations this season and that the Serie A club would thus allow him to ‘leave immediately’ if they receive an offer of around €20m (£17.7m).

However, it is explained that Spurs are not the only ones monitoring Singo, with the player also said to be on the radars of Napoli as well as several Spanish clubs.

Singo was seemingly on Paratici’s and Conte’s wishlist 12 months ago but it does not appear as if Spurs are particularly keen on the Ivorian any longer, which might have to do with the fact that the 21-year-old did not quite progress as expected in 2022.
