Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte and managing director of football, Fabio Paratici are meeting in Turin today, according to The Athletic.

The pair are to hold their end-of-season meeting in which they will discuss their transfer plans for the upcoming season, along with the Conte’s future in north London.

The report claims that Tottenham are increasingly confident that Conte will remain in charge of the club after securing a fourth-place finish in the Premier League table ahead of rivals Arsenal.

Tottenham announced on Tuesday that its majority shareholder, ENIC Sports, has invested £150 million into the club ahead of the summer transfer window to help bolster the club’s investment in new transfer targets.

Chairman Daniel Levy is said to be confident enough about the plans for next season that he did not feel the need to make the trip to Italy (Football.London).

Conte returned to Italy following the 5-0 win at Norwich City on Sunday to be reunited with his wife Elisabetta and daughter Vittoria who still live in his homeland, despite the job he has in England (Telegraph).

Levy has to give Conte full control over this summer’s transfer market otherwise there is still a risk he could have walked away ahead of the season.   Keeping Conte will be key to our plans and also the future of Harry Kane, who is said to be open to the prospect of signing a new contract – something hard to fathom last summer.
