Report: Conte and Paratici in full agreement to move for attacker in January

Tutto Mercato Web journalist, Marco Conterio, has reported that Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici are in full agreement about trying to sign Ruslan Malinovskyi from Atalanta this January.

The journalist added that contacts have not yet been made with Atalanta themselves but the clubs will soon talk, even if Malinovskyi is seen as non-transferable by Gasperini.

This comes after Gazzetta dello Sport reported (16/11/22 as relayed by Sport Witness) that Ruslan Malinovskyi is a potential outgoing for the Serie A club in the winter window, along with Jérémie Bona and Duvan Zapata.

In fact, CalcioMercato went as far as to say that Tottenham have already made contact over a potential transfer for the Ukrainian attacker.

Fabrizio Romano also weighed in on the reports during his appearance on the House of Champions Podcast this month, stating that Malinovskyi is on Tottenham’s January wishlist.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This rumour seems to be gathering pace and Malinovskyi does fit the bill of what Spurs need right now – an attacker who can cover a variety of positions. He is also unlikely to cost much and Paratici/Conte may see him as a gem to shine again, just like Kulusevski and Bentancur.
