Antonio Conte has not had any contact with Paris Saint-Germain about becoming the club’s manager and will make a decision on his Tottenham future at the end of the current season, according to The Telegraph.

Conte, 52, has been touted as just one candidate to replace Mauricio Pochettino in Paris, who is reportedly set to be sacked by the club shortly after delivering the Ligue 1 title on Saturday (The Times and Le Parisien).

But The Telegraph report there has not been any communication between the Italian coach and PSG as of yet, with his focus still firmly on concluding Tottenham’s campaign on a positive note.

The report explains that Conte is still immersed in the club’s pursuit for a place in the Premier League top four, as well as deciding his transfer plans ahead of the summer.

Additionally, Conte is thought to be keen on waiting until the end of the season to decide his future and will hold talks with the Spurs hierarchy to clarify his position in N17.

Spurs currently sit fifth in the table two points behind Arsenal, after dropping points against Brighton and Brentford consecutively.

It is a pretty busy time at Spurs with a top-four spot still on the line and the season approaching its end very quickly.

No doubt Conte’s priority at present will be delivering Champions League football, which will be crucial to keeping him on board beyond this season.

However, Spurs need to convince him they are ambitious enough for him too this summer, with their intentions to bring in players to improve the playing squad.
