Report: Conte has reportedly talked to Inter Milan man about potential Spurs transfer

According to La Tercera, Antonio Conte has been in contact with Inter Milan midfielder Arturo Vidal over securing a potential move to Tottenham.

Conte initially signed Vidal for I Nerazzzuri last September during his tenure at the club, and the midfielder made 23 appearances in an injury-riddled campaign on the way to the Serie A title.

The Chile international has not had much luck on the injury-front this term either, and has been limited to 11 league appearances from the bench while still waiting on his first start of the season.

However, a reunion between both Conte and Vidal could be on the cards, with La Tercera claiming the current Tottenham boss has spoken to the midfielder about a potential move to N17.

The report states Conte has sounded out the 34-year-old’s future plans and sources close to Vidal claim he is keen to play in England and the Premier League.

Vidal has enjoyed a stellar career across Europe and has won silverware with top clubs in Italy, Germany and Spain. He definitely has the experience to boot, but this is the type of player that Spurs don’t usually look to sign, so it will be interesting to see how this pans out.
