Report: Conte might try to take Spurs 22-year-old with him to his next club

CalcioMercatoWeb.it have claimed that if Antonio Conte takes over at AC Milan next season, he could look to take Dejan Kulusevski with him to the San Siro.

Conte’s future remains up in the air, with the Italian’s current contract with Tottenham running out at the end of the season.

Some Italian publications have suggested over recent weeks that Milan could turn to the Tottenham boss to replace Stefano Pioli (La Reppublica via Milan Live).

Milan’s interest in signing Conte has now been backed up by CMW.it, who state that the Spurs head coach remains the Rossoneri’s ‘dream’ appointment.

The report further adds that Conte could look to take Kulusevski with him to Milan, with the Swede said to fit the profile of right-winger that the Serie A club are after.

However, the publication does add that there would be ‘economic obstacles’ to that potential transfer, suggesting that the 22-year-old could cost as much as €45m (£40m).

Spurs Web Opinion

The prospect of Conte leaving Spurs and potentially taking over at Milan does not seem far-fetched. However, there is no chance that the Premier League club would be willing to let Kulusevski leave, particularly for a fee as low as £40m.
