Report: Crystal Palace make move for midfielder wanted by Spurs

According to Gianluca di Marzio, Crystal Palace have made a move for rumoured Spurs target Sasa Lukic this summer.

Lukic was one of the few bright sparks for Torino this season, which proved to be a poor one for the club who finished just one place ahead of the relegation zone.

Some sources from Italy have claimed that the Serie A club could sell the midfielder for around €10m (£8.5m) this summer.

Tutto Mercato Web reported back in March that Spurs have identified the 24-year-old as a potential target to bolster their options in midfield.

The report claimed that Crystal Palace could also return with an offer for the Serbian after seeing their bid turned down by Torino in January.

Gianluca di Marzio have now also named Palace as one of Lukic’s likely destinations this summer, with the Eagles said to be an admirer of the Torino star.

The report makes no mention of Tottenham but adds that Sparak Moscow have also registered an interest in the midfielder.

It is alleged that Lukic would favour a switch to the Premier League this summer.
