Report: Crystal Palace reveal how much Spurs would have to pay for Wilfried Zaha

Tottenham Hotspur may be looking to bolster their front line this summer, but a recent report regarding Wilfried Zaha could kill any hope of a deal.

Crystal Palace are said to be demanding £80m for the winger this summer, who scored ten goals and set a further ten up in 34 games last season (Metro).

The Evening Standard have also reported that Palace are unwilling to let both Zaha and Wan-Bissaka go in the same transfer window.

This means that if the young, English right-back secures his move to Man United, then Zaha will be staying put for at least another year.

Tottenham and Arsenal are said to be the interested parties when it comes to a Zaha deal, but both will be deterred by such a high valuation. Arsenal are said to only have £45m to spend this summer in total.

The 26-year-old is currently playing for the Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It’s a no from me. While I think Zaha has bags of talent, I can’t see him making it at a big club. I also do not think he is worth anything close to £80m, even in this current transfer climate. I would much rather look elsewhere for some young and cheaper attacking stars.
