Report: Daniel Levy ignores Bayern’s Kane deadline – Goes on holiday instead

Multiple reports have now claimed that Daniel Levy has ignored Bayern Munich’s deadline for a decision on Harry Kane and has instead flown to the USA on holiday.

BILD report that Levy is staying in Miami for the weekend, and his family will be on vacation for two weeks, which would take us into the new Premier League season.

Jason Burt from the Telegraph has added that it is now up to Bayern as to whether they follow through on their threat to walk away from a deal if the deadline was missed.

Bayern Munich’s deadline has come and gone

This comes after The Telegraph reported that Bayern Munich set a midnight deadline for Tottenham to accept or reject their final offer for Harry Kane, a deadline that passed last night.

ESPN reported that the latest bid from the Germans is worth €100m (£86.2m), with potential add-ons valuing another €20m (£17.2m) – making for a potential £100m-plus deal.

Spurs Web Opinion:

The fact that Daniel Levy has gone on holiday makes me think that the saga is sorted, one way or another. My gut tells me that the Kane to Bayern deal is now agreed and it is just a matter of time before credible journalists release the big reports. I hope I’m wrong though.
