Report: Daniel Levy is set to make Harry Kane declaration to Real Madrid

GiveMeSport have claimed that Daniel Levy is now set to declare to Real Madrid that Harry Kane is not for sale this summer.

The report reiterates what we have heard from other outlets over recent days, suggesting that Levy has always maintained that he will not sell Kane to another Premier League side amidst Manchester United’s interest.

Levy will tell Real Madrid that Kane is not for sale

However, the Spurs chairman is now thought to be ready to deliver the same message to Madrid, who are circling the England captain.

The report states that the 61-year-old wants to hang on to the centre-forward in order to give new boss Ange Postecoglou the best chance of succeeding at the club.

This update comes a day after Tottenham used Kane as the face of their kit launch ahead of the 2023-24 season, with talkSPORT suggesting that the reason for the North London club doing so was to send a clear message to the likes of Man Utd and Real Madrid about the striker’s future.

It is unclear if this is merely Levy’s starting position in order to play hardball and force the likes of Man Utd and Real Madrid to bid over £100m for the 29-year-old.

Perhaps, the Spurs chairman is seemingly ready to risk the striker running into the final year of his contract in the hope that he could change his mind and sign a new deal next season.
