Report: Daniel Levy makes decision over Tanguy Ndombele’s future at Spurs

Daniel Levy has decided that Tottenham will not listen to offers for Tanguy Ndombele when transfer window opens in the summer, according to a report by Football Insider.

There have reports linking Ndombele with a move away from Spurs in the summer on the back of a disappointing first season in North London (Sky Sports).

However, Football Insider now claim that Levy has decided that the 23-year-old will not be sold this summer, nor will he be included in any potential swap deals.

It is said that the Spurs chairman believes that the former Lyon man will eventually come good at the club.

The report suggests that Jose Mourinho has major doubts over the French international and would be open to parting ways with him.

However, the head coach boss knows that the board are expecting him to use his man-management skills to get the best out of the club record signing.

It is suggested that Tottenham will only be selling their fringe players this summer in order to raise the transfer funds needed to go after new transfer targets.

Spurs Web Opinion

I am not surprised that the club are hesitant to take a financial hit on Ndombele just a year after shattering their transfer record to sign him. It does seem like Jose has been told to do his best to get the midfielder playing to the best of his abilities.

However, it does not look like the Frenchman is going to get much of a look in for the final eight games of the season. The best he can hope for is a couple of cameo appearances off the bench, particularly if we are chasing a game.
