Report: Levy not prepared to make player’s potential Spurs exit straightforward

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is not prepared to lose Dele Alli easily or for a cut-price fee during the current transfer window.

The Telegraph claim that the North Londoners are however prepared to consider allowing the England international to leave the club on a season-long loan deal.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are said to have already held talks with Tottenham over the possibility of taking him to Ligue 1 for the season.

The 24-year-old was left out of Spurs squad for the last Thursday’s Europa League tie in Bulgaria and was also missing during Sunday’s 5-2 demolition of Southampton.

The BBC claimed on Sunday that Spurs sources believe that they expect Dele to remain at the club and battle his way back into Jose Mourinho’s plans.

To date, Dele has featured in just 45 minutes of football this season for Spurs, having starting in the 1-0 defeat by Everton in the Premier League opener before being replaced at half-time by Moussa Sissoko (transfermarkt).
