Report: Daniel Levy to hand Pochettino £100m to spend on these four players

Mauricio Pochettino said recently that he would be “stupid” to remain at Tottenham Hotspur if the club aims to repeat their success without a change in business plan (Sky Sports).

After not spending a single penny in the last two transfer windows, Pochettino is expected to dip into the market after the Champions League final against Liverpool to strengthen his squad.

The Daily Star claim that there will be a number of potential outgoings with Toby Alderweireld available for just £25million up until the final two weeks of the window.

There is also uncertainty regarding the futures of Christian Eriksen and Victor Wanyama while Mauricio Pochetino has also refused to commit his future to the club (Daily Mail).

The report claims that Daniel Levy will give the Spurs boss £100million to spend with Youri Tielemans (Monaco), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham), and Malcom (Barcelona) all on the club’s shopping list.

Spurs Web Opinion:

£100m doesn’t seem like much of a transfer kitty in modern football for a top four club to try and recruit a number of new players.  Should Villa gain promotion to the Premier League, it could be difficult to persuade Grealish to jump ship from his boyhood club while Tielemans has impressed on loan at Leicester, and Monaco will certainly want a pretty penny for his services.
