Report: Defender’s four-year stay at Tottenham is expected to end this summer

Football Insider claim that Sergio Reguilon is expected to seal a permanent move away from Tottenham Hotspur when the transfer window opens in June.

Last season was one to forget for Reguilon, who was sidelined with an injury for the majority of the campaign and found game time hard to come by on loan at Atletico Madrid when he finally regained fitness.

However, it has been a different story for the left-back this season as he has shown signs of promise both at Manchester United and at Brentford, having playing regular football with the Bees since his loan switch across London in January.

Tottenham have made Sergio Reguilon deicsion

Football Insider have claimed that Spurs have already decided to cash in on the Spaniard at the end of the season. It is alleged that the North London club are ready to listen to offers from the Premier League and abroad for the 27-year-old.

The report asserts that he is one of many players who Tottenham will offload to make way for new signings as they try to revamp the squad ahead of next season.

Spurs Web Opinion

I expect this summer to be one of the busiest Spurs have ever had in terms of outgoings, with potentially more than 10 players set to be offloaded as the club go about making space in their wage bill for new arrivals.
