Tottenham Hotspur got their season off to a winning start against Aston Villa last weekend, but they were forced to do it without Dele Alli.
Although Alli endured a questionable pre-season campaign, Spurs were undoubtedly missing his creative spark and late runs into the box against Villa.
After such an injury-struck season last time out, Pochettino will be hoping that he can get his full squad back to full fitness for a real push at the title this year.
A report from the Times has now revealed that Dele Alli is not far away from such a return, after he has been nursing a hamstring injury in recent weeks.
The report claims that Dele will be back in time to play against Newcastle on August 25 at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This will be a welcomed return for Pochettino, as Giovani Lo Celso has not yet featured for Spurs and the future of Christian Eriksen is still somewhat unclear.
