Report: Dele Alli’s return date revealed

Tottenham Hotspur look to be without star striker Harry Kane for the rest for the season after he sustained another ankle ligament injury against Man City on Tuesday.

The England captain hopped straight down the tunnel after twisting his ankle in a challenge with Fabian Delph.

Spurs later had to withdraw Dele Alli from action too after a suspected break of the hand in the Champions League tie.

Alli reportedly had a scan on Wednesday to check the extent of the injury, and the necessary actions needed (Daily Mail).

talkSPORT have since reported that Dele Alli will likely be involved this weekend at home to Huddersfield, either with his hand in a splint or a cast.

This is great news for Tottenham, as they would struggled to cope without both Dele and Kane for the rest of the season.

Alli could be crucial in both the fight for the top four and the rest of Spurs’ Champions League campaign.
