Report denies claim that Spurs have already completed deal for Premier League star

Speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for Ryan Fraser seems to be intensifying by the week ahead of the summer transfer window.

The winger’s contract with Bournemouth runs out this summer and reports indicate that he has made it clear that he will not be extending his stay at the Vitality Stadium (Football Insider).

Todofichajes reported last week that the 26-year-old had already agreed a deal with the Lilywhites and that an announcement from the club was imminent.

The Times have now denied this claim as they suggest that clubs are yet to approach the Bournemouth star.

They reveal that, although the Scotland international is attracting interest from Premier League sides, he will have to remain patient for a few more months before he can secure a move.

It is claimed that all clubs are looking at homegrown quotas and their budgets before finalising their transfer targets.

It is highly unlikely that we would be in the process of negotiating transfer deals at the moment given the amount of uncertainty surrounding our finances. Not only will the financial impact of COVID-19 have an impact on our budget but it will also be influenced by whether or not we achieve Champions League qualification.
