CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that while Bayern Munich are expected to make an improved offer for Harry Kane, Tottenham are likely to turn down any bids that come their way.
It emerged yesterday that Bayern made an opening offer of €70m (£60.2m) plus add-ons for Kane, which was swiftly rejected by Spurs (Sky Sports).

The Athletic asserted yesterday afternoon that the Bundesliga champions have identified the Tottenham man as their top priority and are ‘optimistic’ about getting a deal over the line.
Bayern expected to return with second Kane offer
Jacobs has now taken to social media to state that Bayern are now expected to make an improved offer for the England captain but he makes it clear that Thomas Tuchel’s men have not been given any encouragement by Tottenham to continue bidding.
The journalist asserts that for the moment, Spurs are in ‘auto-rejection mode’, with Daniel Levy in no mood to sell Kane.
However, he suggests that the Tottenham chairman could change his stance if there is an offer of £80m-£85m plus add-ons on the table.
Understand Bayern will improve their offer for Harry Kane, but have been given no encouragement from Spurs.
Spurs in near auto-rejection mode. It’s going to take £80-85m plus add-ons to potentially change that, but even then Daniel Levy is in no mood to sell.⚪️ pic.twitter.com/u0c2nC36xR

Spurs Web Opinion
There is simply no way that Bayern would be making offers for Kane if they had not been notified by the striker’s camp that he is open to a move to the Allianz Arena.
If the Bundesliga giants do up their offer to £80m plus add-ons over the coming days or weeks, I expect the deal to go through.
