Report: Details emerge as Harry Kane could leave Spurs in a matter of days

Football Insider have claimed that Harry Kane’s proposed move to Bayern Munich is set to accelerate over the coming days.

German sources continue to indicate that Bayern Munich are optimistic that they will be able to see off competition from other clubs to land Kane, with the German club’s hierarchy expected to meet with Daniel Levy again this week (Florian Plettenberg).

Ange Postecoglou has generally been tight-lipped about the 29-year-old’s future but the Spurs head coach did admit last week that he is ‘not relaxed’ about the situation and added a quick resolution would benefit everyone (Football.London).

Harry Kane exit is now expected to accelerate

If Football Insider’s latest update is to be believed, Postecolgou might soon get his wish, with the publication claiming that Kane could be ‘gone in days’.

The report states that negotiations between Spurs and Bayern are set to accelerate over the coming days, with the Lilywhites now willing to cash in on the striker.

It is explained that Spurs are holding out for £100m for Kane, with the bulk of the fee set to be used to secure another number nine to replace the England captain.

The sooner Kane’s future is resolved, the better it is for Postecoglou.

However, I wonder if Richarlison’s displays in pre-season might convince the Australian to pursue an up-and-coming number nine to compete with the Brazilian rather than a readymade star and use the majority of the Kane funds to strengthen other areas of the pitch.
