Report: Di Marzio names the forward who Spurs see as a possible replacement for Kane

Tottenham Hotspur are battling Arsenal for the signature of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, who they see as a possible replacement for Harry Kane, according to Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

Fiorentina would expect a figure in the region of €60million (£50.8million) if they are to be persuaded to part with the 21-year-old, with Di Marzio claiming that the fee which the Serie A outfit are seeking would potentially limit interest from just Premier League clubs.

Fabrizio Romano revealed last week that Tottenham are already in contact with his agent (Twitch).

Vlahovic scored 21 goals in Serie A last season, an impressive amount for a player who does not turn 22 until next January (transfermarkt).

It has been said before that Fabio Paratici’s method of negotiation is to have discussions with up to ten players at any one time, some at a very advanced stage before selecting which target to sign on the dotted line (Football.London).

Whether Paratici is utilising this tactic again is unknown, however, Spurs have been linked with other forwards over the past week including Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
