Report: Dier finds out whether he will be punished by Police for incident in the stands

The police have finally revealed whether Eric Dier will receive any punishment for entering the stands in the recent FA Cup tie against Norwich City.

Spurs lost to the Canaries on penalties in the FA Cup in early March, with Eric Dier stepping up and dispatching his own spot-kick.

Upon the final whistle, Dier could be seen jumping the advertisement boards and heading up into the crowd, climbing over around ten rows of seats to do so.

It was later revealed that Dier was entering the stands to reach his brother Patrick, as he thought his sibling was in danger (Sun).

Dier and his brother were then escorted away by the stewards and it was claimed by the Sun that the Spurs player accepted he would likely be banned for the incident.

The police have concluded that no action would be taken against the England international, although the Sun claim that Dier is still waiting to hear from the FA on any potential punishment.
