The Athletic have revealed that Lucas Moura is considered by many at Tottenham to be crucial for the team’s morale.
Moura has been in exceptional form since Antonio Conte arrived at Spurs and the winger seems to have cemented his place in the Italian’s starting eleven alongside Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
The 29-year-old demonstrated his qualities yet again in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, scoring Spurs’ second and setting up the other two.
The Athletic have now revealed it is not just Moura’s attributes on the pitch that make him an important player for Spurs but also his attitude and personality off it.
One dressing room source tells the publication about the former Paris Saint-Germain winger: “He is so important for everyone.”
The report claims that Moura is an uplifting presence in the dressing room, often geeing up his teammates in the dressing room before games and halftime.
The Brazilian’s ability to speak English, Portuguese and French is thought to be one of the reasons why he is like glue in the dressing room.

While the 29-year-old does have some flaws with regards to his decision making, one cannot help but root for his success, given the type of person that he is.
