Report: Dusan Vlahovic never considered offers from Tottenham and Arsenal

Sky Italia have revealed that Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has turned down the chance to join Tottenham Hotspur this month.

Vlahovic is now one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, having scored 20 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for Fiorentina so far this campaign (Transfermarkt).

Tottenham (Gazzetta) and Arsenal (Daily Mail) have both been heavily linked with a move for the Serbian over the last few weeks.

However, Fabrizio Romano revealed on Monday that Juventus were set to make a concrete offer for Vlahovic and that the striker would decide whether or not to move to the Allianz Stadium this month.

Sky Italia have now shed more light on the Fiorentina star’s future and Juventus’ interest in the centre-forward.

The publication states that Vlahovic did not even take the offers from the two North London clubs ‘into consideration’.

It is explained that Fiorentina have put a €70m (£58.7m) price tag on the striker’s head.

Juve are said to be in contact with Fiorentina, with Massimiliano Allegri’s side exploring the possibility of reaching an agreement for Vlahovic.

However, the report also adds that La Viola could reduce their asking price for the 21-year-old as they are keen to cash in on him this month.

I can understand why Vlahovic would have doubts over whether a move to Spurs would be the right step for him. With Kane and Son already at the club, he would not be assured of being the main man up front at Tottenham, as he would be at Juventus.
