Report: Dutch club will submit an offer for Tottenham man ‘very shortly’

1908.nl have backed Feyenoord to soon submit an offer to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil on loan until the end of the season.

Since Timo Werner’s arrival at Tottenham, there have been suggestions that the North London club could allow Gil to leave on loan, which would be his third temporary move away from Spurs since arriving at the club two and a half years ago.

It has been reported over the last 24 hours that Feyenoord and Fiorentina are both eyeing a move for the Spain international (Fabrizio Romano).

Feyenoord set to step up pursuit of Bryan Gil

1908.nl have now claimed that the reigning Eredivisie champions ‘will very shortly submit their first’ offer for the Spurs winger.

The report says that the Dutch club are hoping to convince the 22-year-old about a move to De Kuip until the end of the season but they do not expect Tottenham to be open to including an option to buy in the deal.

The publication adds that Feyenoord will find the deal difficult to pull off since they are expected to face competition for the former Sevilla man’s signature.

Spurs Web Opinion

With Werner having arrived through the door and with Solomon now nearing full fitness, Gil is not likely to get any game time at Spurs during the second half of the season. So, a loan move would suit all parties but I suspect the winger would prefer to return to La Liga once again.
