Report: EAFC announce Tottenham player ratings, and one star is severely underrated

Every year, a new football game from EA Sports arrive, and fans get excited to find out how their favourite players will perform in the game. The ratings for the Spurs squad have now been revealed, and you can find the top players here.

Sonny should be higher

Call it FIFA, call it EA FC, whatever it may be to you, EA Sports are still the producers of the top football game for any console around at the moment (though an argument could be made for Football Manager).

The game has evolved in incredible ways over the years, with smarter gameplay functions and astounding graphics and player likenesses. But, each time a new version of the game arrives, there are always players that are either rated too highly, or more commonly, rated too low.

The club has now shared the ratings for its 11 highest-rated players, and many Spurs fans feel their players have been treated unfairly.

Heung-min Son is top of the pile with a rating of 87 out of 100. Behind him, James Maddison is rated at 85, while Cristian Romero and Guglielmo Vicario are rated at 84.

Pedro Porro stands alone at an 83 rating, while Dejan Kulusevski, Destiny Udogie, and Micky van de Ven all scored an 82 rating. Rounding out the 11, Richarlison, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Dominic Solanke have ratings of 81.

Fans react to ratings

On X, one fan replied to the ratings post to say, “Criminally low some of these.” Meanwhile, another said, “Romero should be higher than that,” and another tweet claimed, “Sonny underrated.”

Son and Maddison maintained their ratings from last year. Romero has actually gone up from 83 last season compared to 84 this year.

Spurs Web Opinion

How Sonny isn’t an 89 or 90-rated player is beyond me. I think Romero should also be pushing the high 80s too. The rest of the scores are pretty fair, though, to be honest.
