Report: ‘Efforts are being made’ to sell two Tottenham players this summer

Football London have reported that efforts are being made to sell both Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko this summer.

The report claimed Spurs need to bring in funds through player sales in order to make any other purchases later in the window.

It is said that, after the sales of Erik Lamela, Joe Hart, Toby Alderweireld, and Juan Foyth, Aurier and Sissoko may be next on the chopping block.

Football London also mention that Sevilla have an interest in signing Davinson Sanchez, but only if they are first able to sell Jules Kounde.

Aurier has just one year left on his current contract and has made 110 appearances for Spurs since signing from PSG back in 2017, scoring eight and assisting 17 (TransferMarkt).

The experienced Sissoko still has two years left on his deal and has played over 200 times for the Lilywhites, scoring five and assisting 16 since signing in 2016 (TransferMarkt).

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would definitely look to sell Aurier, Sanchez and Sissoko this summer, as well as one or two others. It is about time that certain players moved on, making way for some fresh, new, young signings to help Spurs kick on a bit.
