Report: Emery confident of beating Liverpool and Spurs to French star’s signature

According to a report by the Daily Mirror, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is confident of beating both Liverpool and Tottenham to the signature of wantaway Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot currently plays for PSG, but has been put out in the cold following his decision to leave the club when his contract runs out in the summer.

If the Frenchman doesn’t sign a new deal between now and the end of the season, which seems a likely scenario, then he will be available on a free, with the three Prem clubs all said to be interested.

However, Emery and Arsenal could have the edge over their rivals, as the Spanish manager worked with Rabiot for two years at Paris Saint Germain.

The 23-year-old may have to decide whether to choose the manager he knows, or the Premier League clubs performing well ahead of Arsenal.

Should Tottenham make a push for Rabiot in the summer?
