Report: Eredivisie club interested in taking highly-rated Spurs youngster on loan

The Daily Mail have now reported that Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag are interested in taking young Troy Parrott on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Parrott has found game time sparse under Jose Mourinho so far since making his Premier League debut under the Special One.

The Irish youngster turns 18 in February and currently has under 18-months remaining on his Spurs contract.

ADO Den Haag are currently being managed by Alan Pardew, which is perhaps where their knowledge of Troy Parrott comes from.

Pardew apparently believes that Parrott can help fire the second-bottom club up above the line of safety in the second half of the season.

Parrott is actually the only remaining natural striker at Spurs right now, with Harry Kane out injured for the long-term.

The 17-year-old made his full Spurs debut in the EFL Cup this season, as well as his Premier League debut, and debuts for both the Republic of Ireland U21 and senior sides.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Wait until he turns 18, offer him a bumper new deal, and then give the lad some game time at Tottenham! He is good enough and Spurs are wasting months of potential growth.
