Report: Eriksen is growing impatient with Real Madrid and could make Spurs U-turn

Tottenham Hotspur central midfielder, Christian Eriksen, is said to be frustrated with Real Madrid this summer, despite making his own intentions very clear (AS Diario).

Eriksen told the Danish media that he was ready for a new challenge and a step up from Tottenham next season amidst links to Los Blancos (Ekstra Bladet).

However, reports indicated that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was not keen on the Spurs playmaker, instead setting his sights on Man United star Paul Pogba (Marca).

In yet another twist to the saga, The Daily Star then claimed that Man United were not willing to sell Pogba this summer, and so Real Madrid were to turn their attention back to Eriksen.

The Great Dane is said to be growing impatient with the Spanish giants, as his own future remains uncertain. He may now make a complete U-turn and remain at Tottenham (AS Diario).

Eriksen made it clear in his interview with the Danish Press that he would be open to a new Spurs contract if a big club did not come in for him (Ekstra Bladet).
