Report: European club emerge as potential destination for Danny Rose

Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose is a target for Turkish club Trabzonspor, according to Sky Sports.

The England international has been frozen out of the first team picture in North London under Jose Mourinho.

The report claims that Spurs are happy to letting the defender go this month with the former Leeds United man out of contract in the summer.

Rose spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United and failed to secure a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old is thought to earn more than £70,000-a-week at Tottenham (Express) and his departure would be a financial boost for Daniel Levy amid the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mourinho and Rose were seen having a heated exchange during Amazon’s All Or Nothing documentary during a showdown between the pair in the Portuguese’s office at the club’s Hotspur Way training facility (Evening Standard).
